About Re-TROS
Formed in 2003, Re-TROS (short for Rebuilding the Rights of Statues) is the most iconic and internationally influential rock band in China. They signed to Modern Sky label and released their debut "CUT OFF!" in 2005 which was generally considered as one of the classic of Chinese post-punk and Brian Eno took participation. The first full-length album "Watch out! Climate Has Changed, Fat Mum Rises…" released in 2009. This album is among the greatest in the category of Chinese rock music. Released globally in 2017, the second album "Before The Applause" produced by Hector Castillo (David Bowie, Lou Reed, Björk) has received high acclaims both in music industry and among crowds. The band supported the Depeche Mode European arena tour in 2017 and then supported The xx tour in China. They also become the first Chinese band who hold the solo concert in Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai.
