FAQs

What happened to the Ultra-Slim, ProGuard, and UltraGuard Cases?
A:
We've updated our case series names. Edge (formerly Ultra-Slim), Cairn (formerly ProGuard), and Summa (formerly UltraGuard) now reflect the experience, not just the specs. Edge: slim, light, and sharp along the climb. Cairn: firm and dependable, like stone markers that guide the way. Summa: the peak, where protection and hand-feel come together.
Are the PITAKA cases for the Samsung Z series compatible with lens protectors?
A:
They are compatible with individual circular lens protectors, but not full lens caps.
What’s the difference between PITAKA Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 cases and Z Flip7 cases?
A:
The Z Flip8 case features a raised camera frame for enhanced lens protection, plus stronger adhesive strips for a more secure fit and better anti-slip support.
Are the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, and Z Flip8 cases compatible with MagSafe accessories?
A:
Yes. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, and Z Flip8 cases are MagSafe compatible.
Compatible MagSafe accessories:
  • MagEZ Grip: Compatible
  • Magnetic power banks: Functionally compatible, but may partially block the camera area
  • Magnetic Woven Wallet: Not compatible
  • MagEZ Car Mount Pro 2 Qi2: Compatible
The case isn’t fully wrapped—will the phone slip out over time?
A:
No worries. The case has anti-slip strips inside to keep it securely in place. Tip: There's a protective film on the strips—make sure to peel it off before use for the best grip.
Is it compatible with PITAKA's latest Aramid Fiber Magnetic Power Bank?
A:
It can be charged, but the magnetic attraction may be affected due to the interference of the camera.
What's the difference between the 600D aramid fiber and the 1500D aramid fiber?
A:
Essentially, 600D aramid fiber is a thinner thread, whereas 1500D aramid fiber is a thicker thread. The 600D version will feel more delicate to the touch and the case is slightly thinner.
