Can the card wallet be used separately without the base?
A:
Yes. The MagMod Wallet can be detached from the base and directly attached to the back of your phone for standalone use, fitting various scenarios flexibly.
How to install the card wallet to the base?
A:
Installation: Slide the card wallet downwards from the top of the base. It will firmly attach once fitted against your phone.
Removal: Push the card wallet upward along the base to take it off. For standalone use, simply place the card wallet against the back of your phone to attach.
Note: Slide down to install and push up to remove. Do not attach the wallet to the base front-on to avoid pinching your fingers during magnetic connection.

How many cards can the wallet hold at maximum?

It holds 1–3 cards (credit cards, access cards, etc.) to meet daily carry needs.
How do I take out cards from the wallet?
A:
There is a cutout on the back of the wallet. Simply push the card gently upward through the cutout to retrieve it easily with one hand.
If there is only one card inside the wallet, will the card fall out easily?
A:
No. The wallet holds cards securely. Even with just one card, it is safe for daily carry.
How strong is the magnetic attachment on the wallet?
A:
PITAKA Carry · MagMod™ Wallets feature strong magnets with a magnetic force of approximately 0.85–1 kg. It firmly attaches to MagSafe-compatible phones or cases (best used with PITAKA cases). It stays securely fastened and won’t easily come loose in your pocket or bag.
Will the wallet wear out with frequent use?
A:
The wallet is made of woven aramid fiber. It is tough and resistant to wear during daily use. Its outer layer is scratch-resistant, water-resistant, sweat-proof, and stain-resistant. It replaces traditional leather and fabric while retaining PITAKA’s distinctive texture and fine woven feel, balancing durability and premium touch.
How should the wallet be cleaned?
A:
Wipe its surface gently with a soft damp microfiber cloth and let it air-dry naturally. Avoid rough cleaning tools or harsh cleaners to prevent damage to the material.
Will the magnets affect the cards or cause them to be demagnetized? Does the wallet have anti-theft/RFID protection?

It may have an effect. The wallet uses MagSafe magnets, so we don't recommend storing magnetic stripe cards in the wallet for long periods. IC/NFC chip cards (such as new-generation ID cards, transit cards, and chip bank cards) can be stored normally.
The wallet is designed for convenience and supports tap-to-pay without removing your card, but it doesn't come with dedicated anti-theft/RFID-blocking protection. To be on the safe side, we recommend carrying everyday cards like access cards and transit cards, and avoiding storing financial cards such as credit cards that can be swiped.

Which devices are compatible with the wallet?

The wallet features a built-in magnetic structure and attaches to any MagSafe-compatible phone. It works with all current PITAKA MagSafe phone cases, as well as third-party MagSafe-compatible cases.
Please note: Due to differences in device dimensions, the wallet may slightly overhang the edge of the case even when it attaches firmly. This may happen with Galaxy Z Flip7 and iPhone Duo cases.

Are there any limitations when using the wallet with Samsung phones?

Yes, please note the following:
*On Galaxy S25/S26 Ultra models, the wallet may interfere with the Samsung S Pen while writing.
*The horizontal stand mode of the MagMod Stand Wallet is not compatible with Samsung phones.

What should be noted when using it with other MagSafe accessories?
