This case works to fit on an Apple Magic Keyboard & works well when you use it detached. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the bottom long edge is not covered so when you use it detached, you need to be careful not to drop it. Otherwise, it works great!
Yes, you can attach a screen protector to the screen & still close it with the Magic Keyboard.
