Warranty is warranted to be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal use for the lifetime of the product. Defect is defined as an imperfection or flaw that is produced by a manufacturing error, including falling off of magnets, bending or break of the layers etc.
This warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end-user purchaser. PITAKA will only authorize the warranty claim if the product was purchased from an official store or an authorized dealer.
Damages not covered are those resulting from abuse, not properly maintained, alteration or misuse, normal wear and tear, cosmetic damages that do not affect the functionality of the cardholder (such as scratches, stained magnets, or fading logo). Any damage to, loss of the contents of the cardholder, loss of use, loss of data, or similar expenses are not covered.
If your Cardholder qualifies under our warranty, please email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) to file a claim. Please include your PO number, name, address, and phone number (including area code) with the item along with a description of the problem.
We will evaluate the claim at our discretion within 3~5 business days after receiving your email. If the claim meets our manufacture defects, we will acknowledge it and process the warranty. You may be requested to get the claimed product or part(s) to its warranty destination. Once the product or part(s) is (are) received along with the repair order number, we will refund your processing fee and repair or replace your product at our discretion.
When sending your cardholder to use for a warranty claim we do recommend using a service like UPS or FedEx, which will give you a tracking number. Once your cardholder is safely in our hands the warranty process will begin.
